Our Short Friends Trip to the England

The UK has diverse places and awesome specialties, so my friends and I decided to explore it. We are fascinated by the UK’s historical places, dynamic culture, pretty architecture, and landmarks. We took a small break from our work and got ready for our short friends trip to England. All of us were very excited to enjoy the charm and lively life of the UK. We spent 5 days in England and made a lifetime memory. Our every single day was full of enjoyment and adventure. Here, I’ll share our experiences and the fun that we had while visiting top UK cities. Scroll down and entertain with a delightful glimpse of our friend’s trip.

Day 1: Arrival in the UK

We arrived from Canada after a long flight. With fun, gossip, food, and music, we ended our trip and safely reached our destination. We stayed in the Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport hotel for a night. The hotel accommodation, staff, and cleanliness are all up to the mark. We had our dinner with delicious British food and went for a rest.

Day 2: Trip to the Bath

Before we arrived in the UK, we decided which cities we’d explore in the UK. Our first destination was Bath (a beautiful city with Roman history). The world-renowned heritage and popular Roman baths make it the great spa of the UK. We had our breakfast in the hotel and booked a bus to reach the Bath. First, we visited Roman Bath Abbey, a famous church and historical place. The Bath-stone construction, yellow interior, and dynamic art stepped us into the Roman world. The tower, the huge number of windows, Monuments, and status engraving were the best things to explore.

As I frequently read Jane Austen’s novels, we planned to visit the Jane Austen Centre. The Jane Austen Ventre is decorated classically. We attended an exhibition and enjoyed tea at The Regency Tea Room. Then, our next place was the Royal Crescent, a 30-terraced house representing the historical architecture. After strolling in the street, we tried food at The West Gate. We booked our tickets for a comedy show in the Komedia Bath. The show was full of entertainment and fantastic performances. It was late at night; we moved back towards our hotel after an amazing trip to the Bath.

Day 3: Fun at York

It was the third day of our trip, and we wanted to explore; therefore, we woke up early in the morning to catch the train from Bath to York. After a long trip, we reached York (an attractive UK city). In York, we strolled the Shambles (a historic street with medieval buildings of the 14th century) and tried some local food. Then, we captured the charming sights of York from the cruise on the Ouse River. The cruise experience was mind-blowing with the friends. For peace, we spend some time in the York Museum Gardens. The peaceful green area, beautiful plants and flowers, and cool environment make our day. Here, we captured our cool pictures and moved toward the next place.

We decided to explore the York Minster (an ancient Roman cathedral), a nice historical heritage. Then, we tried The Grand, a luxurious hotel for afternoon tea. We got a chance to enjoy the art and music at the Barbican York. After that, we explored the streets of York and bought some cultural things.

Day 4: A Day in Chester

Chester was the next city that fascinated us with its charming historical buildings, art, shopping, and boutique centers. The Scheduled monument in the Roman walls was the best site to visit. Here we explored numerous historical structures, like Morgan’s Mount, Water Tower, Barnaby’s Tower, etc. Getting free from the Roman Walls, we walked around and visited the Military Museum Chester. After a long trip to the historical marks, it was time to explore the River Dee. Here, we enjoyed the boat trip, listened to music, and relaxed on the river sidewalk. We ate our food at Hickory’s Smokehouse Chester and went to view Chester Zoo. Then, we spent a few hours wandering Chester’s streets and enjoyed the night vibes of the city.

Day 5: Explore Liverpool

We had listened to a lot about Liverpool so we decided to spend a day exploring it. We are Beatles fans; therefore, we first visited iconic Beatles landmarks. The Beatles Story Museum is a fabulous place to visit. After spending a few hours, we wandered in the Royal Albert Dock and explored art galleries, shops, food, and water shows. Our most entertaining destination was Gravity Max, where we enjoyed various fun activities. It was a lively place to explore with friends. We entered St George’s Hall to explore the oldest buildings and architecture. Tried delicious food, met with local people, and strolled.

For fun activities, we visited Flip Out, an adventure park for indoor fun. Bumper cars, roller rink attractions, and a variety of activities were full of enjoyment. For music performances, we explored The Cavern Club at Mathew Street, Liverpool. We clicked our photos with the John Lennon sculpture exterior of the Cavern Club. At night, we took a Liverpool to Manchester Airport taxi to reach the airport to get the flight.
